Today, I had the great pleasure to meet three of the Israeli bloggers we link to and write about, on my road to Jerusalem.
We took the ride from Tel Aviv to Petah Tikva, one of the earliest Jewish towns, where we met Anne from … (take a guess). Anne lives on a nice, quiet street.Congratulations to the Professor for having the good fortune to meet and dine with our brilliant friend Annie, and to Annie for her blogging success!
I love it when good things happen to good people. Chicken soup for everyone!
I was so delighted when I clicked to LI this morning and saw Annie smiling back at me! :D
ReplyDeleteI guess it wouldn't be fair to have Annie make the chicken soup for her celebration, but I am sure we could step up and do it!!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, Annie.
Thanks Matt! And I agree, it wouldn't be fair to get me to make my own soup! I expect to be served hand and foot, with matza balls in it too! :D
DeleteI think that can be arranged! You do have a pair of sunglasses to go with your fame, don't you? ;)
DeleteAww, Lady Red, thank you so much! You're so sweet to give me a special mention - especially as my photo up there might scare potential readers away! :p
ReplyDeleteI feel so honoured and privileged to have been noticed by Prof. Jacobson in the first place (apparently via some random retweet of one my tweets, which the Prof followed and found my blog). And now to have had the man himself (and his lovely wife) visit me in my home, well, it's more than I would have ever imagined.
As I said on the previous thread, the Prof and his wife are the nicest people you can imagine. Simply down-to-earth, no nonsense, with a good sense of humour. What more could one ask?
Thank you again Lady Red and all the comrades at the Table for giving me this honour, and for giving me a second home on the web. :) ♥
Annie's a rock star!
ReplyDeleteMazel tov dear Anne.
Heh. Not quite Fay, but thank you for the vote of confidence. The Prof. has been working his way through the Israeli members of his blogroll it seems. Today (or yesterday?) he posted about how the Tea Party is viewed in Israel, and meeting Carl in Jerusalem. There are some beautiful pictures of Jerusalem in there too.
DeleteI'm just fascinated to finally see what all these bloggers look like.
Yeah, I'm a nosy parker :)
Yes, mazel tov to our annie! I'm so glad to see you getting the recognition you richly deserve. I'm sorry I don't get over there as often as I'd like but I've been there enough to see what a fabulous job you've done with the blog and you are such an accomplished writer.
ReplyDeleteWas William nice? He has a friendly-looking face :-)
So I glance at the photo and I'm like what's annie up to in Santa Clara?
ReplyDeleteDang, those Intel campuses look the same everywhere!
Great to meet up with the Professor... that guy is sharp and fearless!
annie you have a real talent for content - great ammunition. You should team up with some bright kids in the area who really know social media analytics and get some world class targeting working for you.
