  9. It was still 2-0 the last I saw, about 40 minutes ago, in the hospital waiting room.

    My Mom took a fall on the icy sidewalk and was in for X-Rays, etc. She was sitting at home, but started shaking, so we forced her to go.

    Both sisters are there now, so I am more or less a fifth wheel.

  20. I saw the game at a sports bar - I'm hoarse from screaming after we'd tied it up to go into overtime.

    Sad we lost, but what a great game.

  21. Well, my mother is home from the ER. No broken bones, just bruises and sprains and a bruised tailbone, thank God.

    It will be fun at that house, tomorrow.

  24. oooh Aridog... Canadians ALWAYS had self-esteem - we just never let the outside world know it. But now, we let the world know. We are PROUD. We are STRONG . We are CANADIAN. And this is a wonderful thing.

    Congrats to the US. You made us EARN our Gold. And earn it we did!
