With one idiotic comment, Martha Coakley has lost the vote of every single Red Sox fan in Massachusetts. You can't make this stuff up.
Obama would be well advised to stay home instead of campaigning in Boston this weekend. Coakley? Stick a fork in her. She's done.
I don't know -- Hillary said she was a Yankee fan when she ran for the NY Senate seat. As I recall, someone asked her something about Yankee history, and she didn't have a clue.
ReplyDeleteAnd she got elected.
I'm hoping for Brown. Maybe Cokedup is such a moron that she will find a way to lose.
Cokedup?
ReplyDeleteLMAO!
The dems can feel it slipping away. They are going to go for reconciliation if Brown wins. Then I think moderates are going to start peeling off so reconciliation might not even do the trick.
ReplyDeleteCoakley's an idiot.
ReplyDeleteThe Dems did not feel they needed to run a good candidate in this race. After all, it is 'The Kennedy's (all bow) Seat'.
ReplyDeleteSo they underestimated the anger of the voters, picked a weak candidate, and she ran a weak campaign.
But I am still not counting the poultry, yet.
Also consider, if the Blue Dogs do start to move away from this 'health-care' fiasco, and it fails, in the end, then there is less likelihood of large GOP (close your eyes and repeat 'Conservative, not RINO' three times) gains this November.
ReplyDeleteFlorrie will know what I mean by this, but she reminds me a bit of Darcy Burner running for Congress out of Bellevue, Washington. Burner ran twice against Jim Reichart, and was beaten both times -- even in 2008 when many people running for office in Washington lost if they had the misfortune of just having an "R" in their names.
ReplyDeleteI forgot about that, yes, she was an awful and inept candidate.
ReplyDeleteIn a funny little side note, when we moved from Sequim in 2005, the house we bought in Arlington was owned by Reichart's son/DIL and they were moving so they could work on his upcoming campaign.
(I think there was something going on because the house was only a year old when we bought it and we found 2 spots where BIG holes in the walls had been patched.)
