Happy Birthday Dances!

Today we're celebrating your special day! First, enjoy a delicious breakfast....you might need the energy.

Next is a trip to the far north for a nice, relaxing motorcycle ride..whee!!!!

After lunch, let's go fishing! The TCKT women will even back the boat in the water...

Oopsie. Hee-hee! Maybe we should all go bowling instead....Aridog, you go first...

Nice boots, dude! Okay DWT...your turn!

Wow! Who knew we needed bowling helmets?  To wrap up our fun day, we're taking you dancing, Dances.  Oo la la! Salsa! The TCKT men are wearing some mighty snazzy footwear lately...

Yummy chocolate cake for all! Wait a minute; the smoke alarm is blaring...who'd have thought 29 candles could bring the fire department? Hmph.

  1. What a great card Lady Red! LMAO!

A great card for a great guy. Happy Birthday Dances. I hope you've been treated to a wonderful day, and here's wishing you all good things and all you wish for yourself for the coming year, and always.

    Many happy returns "ad me'ah ve'esrim" - until 120.

  4. Happy Birfday DWT!

That electric unicycle is awesome - those things are real, btw - they're self balancing, like a segway - I know some people who have ridden prototypes, and there's a local company - Ryno motors - planning on selling them.

    1. Oh Dances - BTW - since we're all on a quest for lifelong learning here at TCKT - I'm giving you something that will come in handy when we welcome our new Chinese overlords - Mandarin Lessons!

  7. Great Card, Lady Red!! Thanks, and thank you all for the good wishes.

I wonder about where the male dancer has his hand, though. Also, about the bowling, HOW did you know it was not safe to sit behind me?

My oldest (but not older) sister gave me a card that made me laugh as well, also. It claimed that I am just 16 in Celcius.

    So I did the math -- 60 minus 32 = 28 divided by 9 = 3.111 multiplied by 5 = 15.555, which happens to round up to 16.

So today is, in fact, my Sweet Sixteen (C) Birthday!

You can go to Facebook to see a picture of the great quilt she made me as a gift.

    1. The best part of Centigrade birthdays is that one year from now I will be only 16.111, which rounds down to 16, yet again.

Life is sweet when you live in your imagination.

    2. Another great part of the Centigrade birthday system - "don't trust anyone under 32" - 'cause they effectively haven't been born yet!

Dances, that male dancer has his hand perfectly placed to protect the woman's decency by preventing her skirt from flying up when she's dipped upside down. I'm quite sure that's what he's doing. What is there to wonder about? ;)

  8. I'm not on fb anymore :-( Not that I want to be but I would have liked to see your quilt.

I missed the dancer and his errant hand, lol!

Well, happy Sweet Sixteen, Dances. Like lady red said, we adore you.

    1. OK, it worked at last - for those who can't see, or don't recognize, the squares on the quilt are all Marvel Comics superhero characters.

    2. Hmm, looking again, I plainly see the ghost of my maternal grandfather helping my sister to hold up the quilt.

    3. She did a great job, how sweet! You and your sister must be pretty close.

The quilt your sister made is lovely DWT! Just how IS that left corner being held up???
