  2. Don't know if it's been pasted before or not.

Even if it had, I'm pretty sure I would have hated it as much then as I do now.

So sorry, not my taste at all.

But, I LOVE YOU, lady red xxx

  3. AWESOME!!!

This made my evening, I'm sending this to Tom right away. When it started, I could hear Brian Johnson singing "Thunder!" and I absolutely loved it that one of them did the Angus Young floor spin at the end. What a great find, lady red, thanks so much!

One of the things I loved about AC/DC was that they never tried to segue into other musical genres; they played what they knew and they did it very, very well. A little trivia...Chris Slade played drums for them when wrote "Thunderstruck". He was also the drummer for "The Firm" - the 2 album Jimmy Page/Paul Rodgers effort - so I did get to see him drum, he was a knockout.

  4. Hope you don't mind I go OT on your thread, lady red, but I wasn't sure where to post this. I hadn't been posting because I can't stand Trump, I was pretty much a NeverTrumper and still can't stand the guy. Things started to change when I saw a seriously ill pathological liar having to be dragged into her van and then popping out of her daughter's apartment an hour later to do a photo shoot. The presidency is too important for a seriously ill person to be in the office; it will be bad enough that important decisions will be made by Abedin, Mills, Podesta, Blumenthal, Mook etc. I've had enough of that with Jarrett.

Tom sent me this article, posted last Sunday on Town Hall. It expresses how we both feel as well.

    http://townhall.com/columnists/derekhunter/2016/10/23/why-i-now-feel-compelled-to-vote-for-trump-n2235899

Whatever happens (and I pray it won't be an HRC presidency), I believe neither would seek a second term at their age. If they did, I'm sure they would be challenged. I'm also livid at all the collusion between media & HRC campaignthe that wikileaks highlighted. And Trump is correct, the polls are biased. That poll showing HRC with a 12 pt. lead sampled 30% more democrats than republicans. Wikileaks also exposed a Podesta-related email that talked about working with poll groups on their methodology to get the best result for HRC.

Why I Now Feel Compelled To Vote For Trump

    1. That was a great article florrie thanks for the link. There are a lot of money (no pun intended) quotes, I particularly liked this one:

There isn’t enough Saudi Arabian money in the Clinton Foundation to get me to vote for someone who got rich off “public service” and a “commitment to helping the poor.”

      And this is excellent:

Bias has always been a factor in journalism. It’s nearly impossible to remove. Humans have their thoughts, and keeping them out of your work is difficult. But 2016 saw the remaining veneer of credibility, thin as it was, stripped away and set on fire.

    2. Thanks, Fay, it spoke to me as well. I've been so conflicted for these last several months but it's now down to brass tacks. Also, unlike the current media narrative - it's far from over...

    3. You can go OT on ANY of my posts florrie!

I read the article, and I hear what you are saying re: Trump. This election has shredded many conservative hearts. I personally have never been so distressed, conflicted, angry, fed up, and disgusted. What a freakin' mess!

But, as you say, beyond the freakin' mess is the cold, hard reality of a possible 8 years with Clinton. Sick Clinton. Corrupt Clinton. Evil Clinton. And as a bonus, we'll get her evil, corrupt minions. They are legion. They include the press, a big swath of the godless clergy, the educators, the unions, the global bankers. They represent everything we, as conservatives, despise and will fight against with our dying breath.

And it may come to that.

I think Trump is intemperate and doesn't know when to shut his pie-hole. Like you, I also think he will surround himself with the very best staff, people we can all trust to fight the good fight. It may not be enough, but it's all we have at this point short of "Whatever Comes Next".

  6. Anecdotal, but I just read on another site that heavily republican districts in Texas are seeing massive turnout for early voting.

I think we can assume that this will not be covered by the media.
