So Many Memes, So Much Hillarity!

Hahahahahaha...

  1. What is very sad is the fact that if the MSM and the government had been doing its job we would never have gotten to this point. Bill should have been impeached (convicted) and justice would have prevailed.

While Bernie Sanders would have been a disaster, and people who supported him were naive, I could at least understand it.

But Hillary Clinton? I could even understand Obama the first time, as he was an unknown (which obviously was a problem).

But Hillary Clinton? The list of people who know her and like her is pretty small, but somehow she has convinced "stupid Democrats" (paraphrasing her words, not mine) that She is God's gift to the little people?

These are the time to try men's souls.

Totally agree about our quisling press. Ditto our impotent congress. If Trump can clean some of that up, I will forever be a fan.

    2. What flo said.

It's not that there is an "elite" or an "establishment".

It's that they all suck so bad right now.

    3. Matt, what really baffles me is how the Bernie supporters quickly switched their allegiance to Clinton. How can ANYONE make that cognitive leap?

    4. Lady Red, I doubt that there are many Sanders supporters who now support Hillary. Don't pay attention to those pissed off Sanders supporters behind the curtain, look only upon what the oracles of the media have told you.

    5. Matt, I'm speaking on a personal level. Two aunts and a gaggle of cousins...all in for Bernie one day, and the next saying "she's not my first choice but GO HILLARY!"

I can't wrap my mind around it. I just...can't. I highly suspect that they'd cheer for (and vote for) a pile of dog poo if it had a "D" beside its name.

I think there are some genuine Sanders Believers that won't vote for Hillz out of principle. I respect them more than the sheeple. At least they have the courage of their (misguided) convictions.

    6. I can't wait until this election is over. Those of us who follow things will know whether we are saved or screwed. The others will either be pleasantly surprised or in for a rude awakening.

  2. Now THAT'S a winner, Fay! Love it (and I'm immensely enjoying watching the dems squawk, squirm and try to stifle the bleeding.

  3. I'm coldly enjoying watching Comey squirm and contort; he has his nuts in a vise. My guess is his career is about to implode in a spectacular fashion with the next scheduled dickileaks data dump.

It amazes me that there are still rank-and-file dems happily championing Hillz on social media. WTH is up with that? It's mental illness. It must be. Even the Chicago Trib is calling for her to step down in favor of Tim Kaine (!).

    1. I have noticed a shortage of political FB post today. Yes, I have seen some, but not what I would usually see.

    2. Yes, the Hillary cheering mob is strangely muted today. Even our friend Frank has toned down his relentless Clinton-mongering. :))

That was one of my mothers favourite quotes and was forever embedded in my psyche. Do not lie, ever.

  16. I think you're on to something here lr.

Clinton's political image is one of a vampire slowly blistering into ash in the bright sun.

    It's a beautiful thing. [/weeps]
