Scumbag of the Year

I can't type what I'd like to have happen to this smarmy twat. You can see highlights of his non-testimony here. I was applauding Congressman Cummings statements (something that seldom happens).

  1. "The former hedge fund manager who has been dealing with severe backlash from members of the public and the medical community after his decision to raise the price of a 62-year-old drug used for treating AIDS and cancer patients from $13.50 per tablet to $750 overnight has defended his actions - and even called what he is doing altruistic.

Martin Shkreli, 32, founder and chief executive of Turing Pharmaceuticals, has said in numerous interviews now that his company 'needed to turn a profit on the drug,' and that with that profit they will begin to put more money into the research and development of a new, better medication.

Shkreli purchased the rights to Daraprim - which is used to treat life-threatening parasitic infections - in August for $55 million, and shortly thereafter, the price of the drug, which costs roughly $1 to produce, was increased to $750 per tablet."

He has since been arrested for securities fraud.

He deserves his day in court but if there is any justice someone will sucker punch that look right off his face.

  3. Poorly functioning sociopath.

Bill Gates was just as bad back in the day but had better filters and better handlers.

  4. How the hell did this doofus get the scratch to found a pharmaceutical company?

He probably made a deal with the devil. Creepy, and definitely a sociopath.
