A Change Of Pace

Things I'd love to see this year on TCKT:

More gardening, flowers, plants, and trees. More travel stories and pictures. More short stories. More stories and pictures about our animals/pets. More uplifting posts that restore our faith in our fellow man. More religious posts, of all sorts. More music. Much more music! More hunting/fishing/hiking/guns/fly rods/boating. Photography, lots of photography. More family chit chat. More funny stories from home or work. And food! We can't forget food and drink!

And....

Less politics. I'm weary, and I think you all are too. I'd like to make this place a refuge from all the deafening noise of the world for awhile.

What say you, knights and knightesses of the Order of the Kitchen Chair?

Aye, or nay?

  1. I like the idea. People sit around their kitchen tables and talk about more than politics. There have been times I have had an idea for a post but have not done it because it seemed like a trivial subject along side the meatier subjects in the news, if not necessarily here.

Everyone here has fascinating interests about which then can write I would be excited to read about them.

But do we have anyone who would post great flower pictures? (I'll duck now.)

    1. Surely there is someone who could take up that mantle! Let's see...who here knows anything at all about flowers and plants...hmmm....:))

  2. I like the idea also. I'm the same as Matt, sometimes I see or do something that I'd like to share but feel it's too trivial. I will certainly be posting more pics of Israel :)

Plus I can't wait to see pics of spring gardens!

    1. No topic is too trivial. If it's on your mind, if it makes you smile, if you're interested, so are we!

    1. Yes! He's an outstanding writer. I hope he'll honor us with another story (or two! Or three!).
