Ben Carson Is Raking In The Moola

I know he'll never get the nomination, and so does everyone else. Like Trump's supporters, those of us championing Carson (and sending him wads of cash) are attempting to make a point to the utterly disconnected RNC; we don't want your candidate (Jeb), we don't want your agenda, and you do not speak for us. Oh, and we've freakin' HAD IT with every tiny little thing being viewed through the prism of race and/or sexual orientation.
Ruger was more blunt. “For the last seven years or so, the liberal media has been accusing the Republican Party of being racist towards Obama, and I think what you’re seeing now is that the Republican Party is not racist, because Carson’s polls are going up,” he said. “Obviously in New Hampshire here, the majority of the people are white—all of them pretty much, if you know what I mean. And he’s not racist and we’re not racist as Republicans.”
His wife, Diane Ruger, a 66-year-old retired radiological technologist, agreed. “We need a unifier, we don’t need a divider,” she said.
So I say: Go Ben! Focus the spotlight on the corrupt, creaky old ostriches in Washington all you can before the shrieking harlots of the "media" eviscerate you and your family.

  1. He'll make a great running mate for Trump.

    1. I'd have to buy milk duds to go with my big bucket of popcorn. Super-size me! :))

      Good to see you Erbo!

    2. Likewise, LR! :)

Carson's not going to be able to take the nomination on his own. Quite frankly, it's either going to be Trump or Jeb/Rubio...and, if it's the latter, the general election goes to Hillary. Carson would, however, complement Trump nicely as the other half of the ticket.

    3. Quite the opposite. In head to head polls, Dr. Carson is the ONLY one of the candidates that beats Clinton. And of the top 5 (Carson, Trump, Rubio, Fiorina and Bush) Trump polls the worst against her.

    4. Also, in the latest Florida primary polls, Rubio now leads Bush by a point.

  2. You would think the cabal of RINOs would get the message by now.

  3. I love Dr. Carson. He and Scott Walker have been my two most hopeful choices for our nominee. I so admire and respect them, I was very sorry that Walker had to drop out but I believe he will continue to be a force on the political stage.

  4. I don't understand why everyone thinks Dr. Carson can't be the Republican nominee. He has polled consistently well for months and is steadily gaining support. I think he had as good a chance as anyone.

    1. flo, I think it's great that Carson is shaking things up - but I recall several months ago Carson made statements in favor of gun control. Not a 2nd amendment fan. Has this changed?

    2. I didn't know about that, lewy - yes, that might be troublesome. I will try to find what he said.

    3. I found this link that records Dr. Carson's comments on gun control. Yes, I think his opinion about semi-automatic weapons is problematic. I strongly suspect he may not be a gun owner and does not realize the difference between a semi-automatic weapon and fully automatic. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. What do you think, lewy?

    4. No one asked, but here's what I surmise. In a very good chart Annie posted awhile back, it shows a majority of states with far less, far far less, stringent background checks than my state...a "shall issue" state no less. . Where I live it is not so easy, even takes a week plus (my name is as common as dirt nationwide) for me to acquire an FBI clearance for a pistol...which I do not mind a bit. If up to me, I'd require all states to have the same system....gun shows included and all that off the grid nonsense. I am a long time (since 1949) NRA member (back then a "Junior NRA member), and now a regular NRA member, and know what they really advocate, not what the media thinks they do.

So far, as news leaks out, it appears that this shooter in Oregon was mid-twenties and living with his mother, who assisted him with gun activities...sound familiar? Think "Sandy Hook."

I am uncertain how to segregate the loons but we must sooner than later.

    5. Florrie ... forget the reduced magazine sizes, it makes no difference. Forget banning semi-autos because they comprise the bulk of target shooters as owners....me included.

    6. I am totally on board with stringent background checks. There have to be ways to be able to check an unbalanced person's mental history as well (which now is too protected, in my opinion) if that person wants to purchase a gun. I have no problem with them checking my history, mental or otherwise.

I've tried not to listen to much about the murderer but yes, I surmised he was a loner filled with hate, spending his hours in his room on his computer. Very similar to Sandy Hook creep. I am so glad that the news reports I've watched won't show his face or say his name. I like what Greg Gutfeld used to do on Red Eye when talking about these people - he wouldn't say their name either and in lieu of their picture showed a pile of dog crap.

  5. Can I just add my 2 pet peeves about all politicians? When they answer a question with "we" instead of "me" and when they speak of themselves in the 3rd person. Quit doing that!! It drives me nuts!!!

  6. What a tragedy today. My prayers with the victim's families.

  7. Ben Carson leads the pack in the most current polling for the Louisiana primary. Trump is 2nd, back 4 points from Carson.
