Terrorism In Canada

Two Canadian soldiers murdered on Canadian soil by Islamic terrorists in the last three days.

On Monday 53-year-old Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent was run down and later died of his injuries. The savage that killed him was, thankfully, shot and killed by police. RIP Patrice Vincent and thank you for your service.

Today, 24 year old Cpl Nathan Cirillo was shot to death while guarding our National War Memorial in Ottawa. The savage that killed him was, thankfully, shot and killed by Kevin Vickers, the sergeant-at-arms for the House of Commons and 29-year RCMP veteran. RIP Nathan Cirillo and thank you for your service.

PM Harper addressed the nation tonight and did something that no media outlet has the balls to do; he called the perpetrators "terrorists". Thank you Mr. Harper.  I get the distinct impression that "workplace violence" will have no truck with our PM.

  1. Islamism is a mind virus. "Thankfully shot and killed" is how they all should be.

Hoping #TSaK takes off on twitter.

    2. TSaK := Thankfully Shot and Killed. :D

The "#" means it is a "hash tag" - a search term on twitter.

annie tweets, and the terrorists in Israel are often #TSaK, so she might pick this up...

  2. Damn. Now if the American President will only grow a pair half as big as Mr. Harpers.

  3. Thank you for posting this Fay. I had been thinking about it but didn't know where to begin. I heard Harper's comments, they were very good. He is a leader. The Canadian people are lucky to have him.

My heart goes out to the families of the slain military men, the woman who was beheaded in Oklahoma and the girl stoned to death by her father and his accomplices.

These islamist terrorists are savages and must be squashed out of existence.

  4. Lewy, you're right, I did pick this up. In fact I picked it up a day ago already but meanwhile I got caught up in our very own terror attack in Jerusalem in which a 3-month old baby was killed.

But "our" terrorist was also #TSAK. Not at first - we heard he was injured and sent to hospital. Then we heard he'd died. Too fast for my liking. But at least he can't be let free in another terrorist release.

The baby and her parents are American citizens. So what did State say? They're "investigating the matter but meanwhile calling for restraint". Oh, pooh to you, State Dept!

  5. I was so upset to read about the attack in Ottawa. Of all the nations in the world, Canada is the one who least "deserves" such an attack - (not that anyone deserves it, but sometimes my schadenfreude comes into play, if you see what I mean).

But that is probably the reason why Canada was the target: because they stand up for what's right, and the PM has no compunction in calling out terrorism for what it is.

And of course Canada stands with Israel strongly and overtly. Which was what made them a target in the first place.

I pray that Canada will not see any more terrorism. May the wounded have a speedy recovery, and sincere condolences to the families of the 2 soldiers who were killed.

    It's all so shocking.

  6. Events in Canada and Israel this week sicken me. My heart is with you all.

Florrie said "These islamist terrorists are savages and must be squashed out of existence." I couldn't agree more.
