Breakfast At Tiffany's

If you haven't seen it you should.  Audrey Hepburn is sublime.  (how many modern actresses/performers can you say that about?)  The answer is; none.

  1. I was hoping to find a YouTube posting of Jerry Butler's 1961 recording of Moon River, but all I could find seemed to be re-recordings. In lieu of that, how about a great 1963 record.

  2. Audrey Hepburn was class with a capital "C". She had such an amazing style and that neck! There is no one comparable to her. I love this movie although my favorite Hepburn film has to be Sabrina (Holden...Bogart...*swoon*0

Right up the with them is Charade and of course, My Fair Lady. I wish they had let her sing, she had a lovely voice. I mean, for gawd's sake they let Rex Harrison sing!?!

I haven't watched Breakfast at Tiffany's in years, I'll have to do that now. Thanks for the memories, Fay....

  3. The only actresses in her league that come to mind are Grace Kelly and Sophia Loren.

I enjoyed the opening scene, and I've alway loved the wistful melody of Moon River.

  5. I just find it amazing that George Peppard was ever considered a serious actor.
