Good Watching

You must see Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech before the UN General Assembly:

And for an a short spirit-uplifting video, may I present Bishop E.W. Jackson:

7 comments:

  1. Netanyahu was excellent as always. Clear, concise and compelling.

Bishop Jackson surprised me, and I am sure he is getting a lot of flack from those 'ministers' who've spent their lives in the Dems back pockets. I only hope he gets a lot of views by (not only) black Christians, who then realize just how right he is.

  2. "We will never be uprooted again"

    Thank you Bibi.

Netanyahu is a statesman of integrity, whose eloquence, grace, and wisdom, uplifts my heart.

  3. I watched it live. But thank you for posting the video. I thought his speech was strong and very moving. Although he acknowledged BOs sanctions, like he said, they are not a deterrent to Iran's nuclear ambitions. To me, his "red line" was a shot over the bow to the Obama administation. I pray for Israel's safety.

Did you all see the 2 photos of Bibi that AP and Reuters chose to use, out of the hundreds? 2 shots that look like he is giving the Nazi salute. I was so upset and angry, I really didn't know what to say or do about it. The heroes have become enemies to the liberals and enemies, heroes. What other explanation can there be?

    1. Those disgusting pictures of Bibi are all over the Israeli blogosphere - being condemned of course. But they should never have been published in the first place.

  4. I wasn't sure about Bibi's cartoon gimmick. I thought it might backfire, and it did to a certain extent. But Herb Keinon in the Jerusalem Post and Tim Marshall, foreign correspondent of Sky News disagree. they say Bibi's gimmick did exactly what it was intended to to - make the world talk about red lines for Iran.

I blogged all about Bibi's speech as well as the other Middle East speeches, over at my place.

  5. The speech itself was brilliant, as we've come to expect from Bibi. He's not only eloquent. His words have deep meaning and implications, all backed up by history and truth. Unlike some of the other speeches.

  6. Benjamin Netanyahu's brother went, as a soldier under arms, into harm's way to rescue his fellow citizens being held as hostages in Entebbe in Uganda. Lt. Col. Yonatan Netanyahu was the only fatality in that raid.
Benjamin Netanyahu was a team leader in the Sayeret Matkal special forces unit. He took part in many missions, including Operation Gift (1968) and Operation Isotope (1972), during which he was shot in the shoulder. He fought on the front lines in the Yom Kippur War in 1973, taking part in special forces raids along the Suez Canal, and then leading a commando assault deep into Syrian territory. He achieved the rank of captain before being discharged.

Benjamin Netanyahu has B-I-G brass ones hanging; do not under-estimate this man. He's the sort of leader that so many other namby-pamby nations so eagerly crave, the once-United Kingdom amongst them. What he says, goes. He will NOT allow his Nation to be destroyed.
Do we help him or do we just watch?
