  1. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know we are always saying the left are idjits for placing any weight or inportance on what celebs say about politics or leaders.

But if they can do it so can we!

  3. I loved that bit too, lol!

I like Gene, I'm glad he's out there defending our ally Israel; too bad Pres. Obama can't do the same but he'll be out of the Oval Office soon...

    1. Too bad Gene Simmons voted for Obama ... something I gather he regrets now. Nothing against the man, and I appreciate his support of Israel, but I have to doubt his judgment when he voted for "hope & change" ... like what did he think that was going to be?

Put it another, analogous, way; would he hire a guitarist for his band if that guitarist bought his first guitar the week before?

Well, he voted for a guy who never managed anything productive, never ran anything except his mouth, for CEO of the USA.

  5. Yes, but don't you think Gene was being disrespectful of the President? This video was racist.

No, i don't think so. Gene was spot on. I am glad he admits to being duped. Totalitarian regimes don't always get started in democratic countries by force, sometimes they happen through the ballot box. Hitler really came to power by being elected. He gained his real control by being allowed to run roughshod over existing laws and procedures -- much as Obama is being allowed to do by many people.

I am not saying Obama is a Hitler. There have been many dictators in the world who did not rise up to the level of Hitler. I really do not think (at this point) that Obama would send millions of people to death camps. Obama, however, is a megalomanic who hates the United States and has little understanding of the country's greatness and heritage.

  6. I love Gene Simmons! Did you know he's in fact Israeli? Which may explain his no-nonsense stance.

And his so very-Israeli macho "practice thousands of times" line too. LMAO!

    1. See my remark above. Yes, he is an Israeli born and bred. What made him vote for Obama is beyond me, but he admits he did, as many others of similar background did and will do here. Like I said above, in 2008 he picked a guy he'd not hire himself. I have to wonder why? That he's come to his senses is nice. Mr Simmons is an astute businessman, so his backing of Romeny now is logical.I hope he remains in that camp.

    3. Shalom annie, I was hoping you would see this. I knew Gene was Israeli, there is a reality show on US TV called "Family Jewels" that basically follows the life of Gene and his family. They went to Israel last year and he met his half siblings from his fathers second marriage. He had been supporting them financially for years but had never really met them because he was resentful towards his father.

He's a very savvy business man and he supports many charitable causes both in the US and in Israel.

    4. Fay, the TV show sounds great. We have somehting similar here called "Who do you think you are?". I remember that Gene was here last year, there was lots of excitement that such a celebrity was visiting home. But I didn't know all that stuff about him supporting his family. What a nice man. My appreciation of him has gone up. (previous support for Obama notwithstanding!).

@Aridog - I'll give you points for persistence. Nice try but no deal! :D
