Friday Night Amateur Photography

I've been playing around with my camera over the last week, fiddling with different settings and light. Here are some of my favorites:

Petunia-mania

Our patio lemon. It's so fragrant!

Lily blossoms. Aren't they lovely?

Flowers and more flowers!

Happy Friday everyone!

  1. Great pictures, lady red, it's such a treat to see some of your garden. Why are there only 4, I need to see at least 15 or 20!!!

I'm green with envy over you having a lemon tree (ditto annie with her orange tree).

Guess we'll just have to visit :-)

  2. I knew this thread would bring out Florie! These are lovely photos. I think a field trip to the LR residence is in order.

Does that lemon tree bare fruit, or is it just a flowering variety. I think there a tress like that. Please don't give me dirty looks, Florie!

  3. Matt, it bears fruit! If you look closely you can see the little lemon in the center of the shot. The blossoms perfume the entire deck! We'll bring it inside during the coldest winter months, at least that's the plan. :)

I knew you would like the photos florrie. I'll post more as I achieve "good" ones. I'm thinking about printing out a few of them for the wall of our office/study. I like lots of color in the house.

I would LOVE for you to all come visit us. What a grand time we would have! I hope the Ozarks is big enough for all the laughter and merriment. :D

  4. Lovely pics lr. I love flowers, I love Spring.

I remember smelling orange blossoms in Spain and lemon blossoms in California.

Once you've sniffed the citrus, nothing else comes close :)
