‘We are a Christian country and we should not be afraid to say so."

Wow, just wow. David Cameron really grew a pair the last two weeks. First he told the EU to p**s off and now he blasts The A of C.

Well done Cameron.

David Cameron last night called on the Archbishop of Canterbury to lead a return to the ‘moral code’ of the Bible.

In a highly personal speech about faith, the Prime Minister accused Dr Rowan Williams of failing to speak ‘to the whole nation’ when he criticised Government austerity policies and expressed sympathy with the summer rioters.

Mr Cameron declared Britain ‘a Christian country’ and said politicians and churchmen should not be afraid to say so.

He warned that a failure to ‘stand up and defend’ the values and morals taught by the Bible helped spark the riots and fuelled terrorism.

  3. I just went back and read the whole article. I'm so proud of PM Cameron for daring to tell the truth. The statement the AofC made in Nov. 2010 seems ludicrous.

It is sure heartening to read about world leaders facing real problems head-on and not censoring their comments to serve the PC crowd.

  4. This definition of political correctness has made the rounds on the internet, it's been attributed to a Texas A&M contest, etc. I don't really care who made it up, I think it's very good.

"Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

  6. Slam-dunking the AofC warms the icy cockles of my heart. The guy is a drooling nitwit. Please, please, please let America elect a man (or woman) with cojones next fall! Cameron, Harper, and Netanyahu could use a little help.

Canada is about to flex its economic muscle with all of their oil deposits. Good for them! Giving the finger to the Kyoto Protocol is an excellent way to clear the decks for a booming economy.

Florrie, I love the PC definition!
