  3. You are welcome Dances, you had requested both of them last year so I just reposted them.

  4. RWC, I don't know who/what Emmet Otter's Jugband is...do they have a Christmas record?

    Also what is jk?

  5. There was a puppet Christmas show named 'Emmet Otter's Jug band Christmas' a few years ago, which is probably what RWC is referring to.

  6. Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas (the show) came out in 1977. It was my FAVORITE Christmas program!

  7. DWT, exactly.

AFW, you are probably the third person that I know that has seen it.

    Emmet Otter blooper outtakes...

  8. RWC, people don't know good quality when they see it! Instead they wax poetic about what is basically a story about Santa and his reindeer being bullies (Rudolph).

I don't get it. Emmett Otter is a classic.

This is probably something like all my favorite tv shows getting canceled early on (*ahem* Jericho *ahem*).

  10. AFW, I had to buy the DVD and I loan it out every chance I get. I really am amazed that more people haven't seen it. It was on every year when I was a kid. I think maybe it just being on HBO has something to do with it.

And please tell me your not in this camp AFW?!!?

I am pretty sure I already know the answer.

  12. Guess what we're watching tonight!!!

Nah - I'm not violently anti-Rudolph story. I just don't like it. I don't think it promotes bullying because of the way it ends, but I think that Rudolph is definitely bullied.

    And Comet is an asshole.

  13. Comet is abrasive, that's why he is good at cleaning kitchen sinks.

  17. Awww... Thanks for the warm welcome. I've been really crazy busy with reading, papers, presentations and exams (and that was only one class!) I just had my final this week (I think I did pretty good)- thank goodness it's over. Now I have a month to get ready for the spring semester. (I don't know if I mentioned, but I'm studying to be a Math teacher when I grow up. That's the plan for now at least)
I did in fact read your toy post, florrie (I really do read TCKT nearly every day, but just don't manage to post as much as I'd like) Anyhow, I loved it. Box and Tube are two of my boys' favorites. Box, especially. We go through them pretty quickly- good thing we get them for free!

  18. I think you will make a wonderful teacher, you just draw people in with your humor and kindness.

I think what you, lady red, Matt and lewy are doing is inspiring, it's so much work!

  19. Yes, Alphie. I'm sure you will do well, and we sure can use some good math teachers.
