Bing and Bowie



Love this clip. Never get tired of watching Bing and Bowie.

  2. RWC, ha! you younguns missed all the really GOOD stuff. I remember seeing this on the original TV show.

    David Bowie has the most amazing voice. You wouldn't know that however by listening to his recordings.

    He was one of the two out of the many, many, live acts I have seen that really blew me away because of the contrast between his recorded voice and his live voice.

    The other was Cyndi Lauper.

  7. I love this song. It's such an unlikely pairing, but their voices work so well together in it.

    I was fortunate enough to see Bowie, some 20 or so years ago, but I don't remember any difference in his voice. It was in a big stadium though, so that probably didn't help the situation.
    I was, however, totally blown away by his show- not just the music, but the whole performance in general.
