Among the many reverberations of President Obama’s election, here is one he probably never anticipated: at least 32 African-Americans are running for Congress this year as Republicans, the biggest surge since Reconstruction, according to party officials.
Allen West? Oh yeah! THIS is hope and change I can believe in.

ReplyDeleteI sent him a check, before he entered politics, to help cover the fine he had to pay for playing rough with an Iraqi whom he suspected of having information on immanent attacks on his men.

I think that a real man (and woman, for that matter) will do what is right no matter the cost. I think LTC West's actions proved that he is one of those real people. I judge most people by how much I would trust them to have my husband's (or my) back.
I would trust West absolutely. So - definitely time to put my money where my mouth is.
I think afw is the one who first brought Allen West to my attention too, he would be a wonderful representative and I think he could handily win. We could send him a quarter or two...
