Gotcha, You Sonofabitch!

Good news this morning...we've arrested a suspect in the attempted Times Square bombing.

Authorities arrested a U.S. citizen in connection with the failed bombing attempt in New York's Times Square as he tried to leave the country, Attorney General Eric Holder said Tuesday.
Faisal Shahzad, 30, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. ET Monday night by Customs and Border Protection agents as he attempted to board an Emirates airlines flight to Dubai at New York's JFK airport, officials said.
"It is clear that the intent behind this terrorist act was to kill Americans," Holder said.

There's more:

Shahzad, a naturalized U.S. citizen who was born in Pakistan, was accused of driving a car bomb into Times Square, authorities said. He will appear in Manhattan Federal Court later Tuesday.

I hope we fry the little weasel.

  1. The part I like is that, from reports, the aircraft was taxing out for take-off and was called back to the gate. The SOB thought he was home free no doubt, elated and jubilant. Then boom, his emotions exploded from disappointment. Just the first of many disappointments and indignities he will suffer. I hope anyway.

  2. Kinda weird - Gerald Celente mentioned something just like this happening. Specifically Pakistanis, out for revenge. Heard him mention this in an interview I guess about 4 months ago. That we'd be seeing an influx of ticked off Pakistanis trying to blow stuff up here. He mentioned the number of them living in the US and it was a large number.

  3. Another one of those Christian Tea-Baggers at it again. The government should keep better tabs on them.

  4. Matt, I was gobsmacked by the comments of Mayor Bloomberg and some news commentators. They WANTED this act of cowardly terrorism to be perpetrated by tea bag grandmas!

    How sick is that? :(
