Heartbreak In West Virginia

The agonizing wait is over for the families of the trapped West Virginia coal miners.  There are no survivors.

Our nation grieves.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the families of the miners.

  1. I have often wondered how anyone could do the kind of work, but someone hads to do it.

  2. Makes open cast or strip mining coal seem better, doesn't it...even ugly as it is to a landscape? Deep coal seams are the reason for tunnel mining, and it is certainly more dangerous. The sites of tunnel mines I've seen are in Kanawha Valley, West Vrigina. Don't hink I could do that kind of close quarters confined space work.
